All Level Pottery Wheel Class Discover the art of pottery in our hands-on, beginner-friendly pottery wheel class. This course is designed for individuals who are new to pottery or those looking to refresh their skills. Over the course of the class, you'll be introduced to the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including centering clay, shaping bowls, cups, and other simple forms, and learning basic glazing techniques. Our experienced instructors will guide you step-by-step through each process, offering tips and personalized feedback. Whether you're looking to create functional pottery for your home or explore it as a creative outlet, this class provides a relaxing and inspiring environment to develop your skills. Ideal for Ages 15 and up. Class Highlights: Learn the basics of wheel throwing, from centering to pulling walls. Explore the essential tools and materials used in pottery. Create and personalize your pieces with glazing techniques. Receive expert guidance and feedback in a supportive atmosphere. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and willingness to learn! **Clay and Pottery Tools are not included with registration and both are available for purchase at the Studio. ***Only Lake Norman Pottery Clay purchased at Lake Norman Pottery Studio will be allowed in the Studio. Lake Norman Pottery reserves the right to cancel any class that does not have significant enrollment. Classes are 100% refundable if the class is canceled by Lake Norman Pottery Studio. Classes are 100% refundable up to two weeks (14 days) before the start of class, minus a $25 processing fee, if the student cancels. No refunds or tuition credits will be given within 14 days of the start of class. Lake Norman Pottery does not offer make-up dates for any individual student who is unable to attend a scheduled class.
