Dive deeper into the art of ceramic hand-building with this intermediate course. Building on foundational techniques, students will explore advanced methods such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction. The course will also cover various glazing and firing techniques, allowing students to create both functional and sculptural pieces. Through hands-on projects, demonstrations, and critiques, participants will develop their personal style and artistic voice. • Clay and Pottery Tools are not included with registration and both are available for purchase at the Studio. ***Only Lake Norman Pottery Clay purchased at Lake Norman Pottery Studio will be allowed in the Studio or fired in the kilns.
